I was hoping for the nice weather to last, but I forgot that that never happens in the spring when you live in Utah. So instead we got a surprise snow with about enough snow to make everything white plus a little bit. Oh well, at least we got to stay inside and clean. We also went out on Conference Sunday when we also got some snow and built some snow stuff and Mark and Dad had a snowball fight.
Hooray for spring break! This week consists of Planet Earth of Life in the mornings, a little bit of cleaning after that, and more playing following that. We might even be going to the Hogle Zoo!
On Saturday we went swimming, and I learned how to do a front flip off the diving board. I also played monkey in the middle with Mark and Roo Roo (Rachel). Neil got to try the water out for the first time and was a bit unsure and timid. By the end he was able to splash the water without crying, and so mom held him and walked out into the four foot area to come be with us.
Conference was a blast! I was able to get a bunch of great notes, and add another row to my afgan. I also helped Roo Roo start her own with some really soft yarn that she has. I think that my favorite talk was Elder Holland’s talk. My favorite quote is “We should always try to hold Family Home Evening each week, even though bedlam reigns, inflicted by little bedlamites!”
Hope you all have a wonderful week, and I will hopefully be posting a bunch of fun stuff we did over the break.

Snow Day, Christmas, and other Holiday Stuff
The day before Christmas vacation was snowed out with two feet of snow. I was so happy we got an early vacation. We played in the snow half the day, and had a blast. Mark, Abbie , and I made a super cool snow fort, and had a snowball fight with our neighbors.
Mark and I also made a gorgeous snow horse that you could actually sit on. It was so fun!
A few days later we went sledding with my cousin Meagan. They had some nice gentle jumps at the golf course, and it was even more fun with inner tubes so your behind was not back and blue by the time you were done.
Christmas was a blast. We unwrapped presents and went to go have lunch with my Great-Grandma Jennie. Then we went to Grandma’s house for Christmas dinner. My favorite present was a brand new pair of rollerblades. I also got a Willow Tree figuring from my primary teacher.
A few days ago it was warm enough for me to try out my rollerblades. Abbie and I put them on and had fun trying them out, except for when Abbie slipped.
A few days ago Abbie accidently got hit in the eye with a towel, and the next morning it still hurt. Mom took her to the eye doctor, and it turned out that she had popped a blood vessel right on the edge of the colored part of her eye. Now Abbie gets to wear sunglasses all day. If it is not better by Monday she gets to wear them to school all day. I told mom that she should write on the note that Abbie had to wear them all day on doctors orders, and that so she wouldn't be embarrassed, her sister would wear them too. Mom said I was very funny.
Happy holidays, and I will try to post more often.

Snow!
It was supposed to be a blizzard yesterday, and four storms were supposed to hit right over us. But because of stinky Utah weather, the wind didn’t blow fast enough and the clouds were mostly snowed out by the time they got to us. So, out of the blizzard we got about two inches of snow.
People were so worried about the storm that they let some of the teachers that lived in Orem go home early, because it was supposed to hit fifteen minutes after school got out. This was extremely funny because it didn’t hit until about seven thirty.
Mark and I started building a snow fort early this morning but it didn’t work very well because the snow is really dry. So we wandered into the bark yard and had a snowball fight. Since the snow was so dry it wouldn't pack we had a snow powder fight. It was pretty fun, until Mark got cold and went inside.
Tonight we are going up to Salt Lake for a pie party, so I hope that all the snow got poured down on Salt Lake so we can have some fun up there.
